My work experience week with Boccia England has come to an end and what a fantastic time I have had! As a player myself, it was incredibly interesting to see the inner workings of an organisation which allows and inspires so many to access this wonderful sport. A wonderful sport which I have played since a very young age, first at school and then having been captivated by the tactical nature of sport, I joined my local boccia club through Boccia England’s club finder.

 

Since then, my boccia has gone from strength to strength, having reached The Heathcoat Cup Finals in April which, by the way, is an outstanding competition to really show what you are capable of!

 

So if you think Boccia is for you, don’t worry about what other people think and just give it a go, maybe you’ll love just as much as I do!
